I don’t follow politics much, but thanks to my wife, I am informed of all the comings and goings in the political world on a near daily or even hourly basis. She reported to me that over the weekend, our president sent out over 50 tweets, 52 to be exact, on various topics. The twitter world lit up like a 4th of July fireworks display, and the pundits began their analysis of what all this meant.
Is he losing his mind and becoming unhinged, some asked? Others wondered if he was tweeting out of fear of the impending Special Counsel report. Still others, thought that it was an entryway into the upcoming election season and what better way to kick it off?!
It doesn’t matter if you are a Republican or Democrat one thing is for sure; this got people talking and fixating on Donald Trump. Knowingly or unknowingly, this tweetstorm grabbed many peoples’ attention, conversations started and focus on the event.
I recommend we further become the influencers, the provocateurs and the ones who put something stimulating out there, on the varied platforms, that will get our customers thinking, talking and taking action to improve their lives and businesses and those they impact.
It’s the first official day of spring, people are feeling good, so it’s time to shake it up. Get noticed and get your business thriving!
