My Perfect Morning Raising the Barr Weekly Memo: Issue 339

With her siblings at summer camp, I had the pleasure this weekend of hanging out with my four-year-old granddaughter celebrating the 4th of July weekend. We had a wonderful time visiting Luvin Lavender farms, enjoying the beautiful surrounding, working on exciting art projects, as she even posed for brief moments to allow me to capture some images and showoff my photography.

I was just asked what does the perfect morning look like for me. The first thought that crossed my mind was, spending time with my grandkids and family of course. As I further reflected, here are the additional thoughts that came to mind to start my perfect mornings routine:

  1. Wake up rested after a good night sleep.
  2. Have a healthy breakfast while sipping on my cappuccino.
  3. Workout to jumpstart my body and mind and as often as possible find a place to play my latest passion – intense pickleball games.
  4. Stimulate my mind by reading, listening or watching great content.
  5. Create something of value for others and of great interest and passion for me.
  6. Help clients and others who challenge my thinking and uplift my spirit.
  7. Spend time with loved ones.
  8. Be filled with enthusiasm and great ideas to take action to make it a meaningful and incredible day.

So, what does your perfect morning look like? Your comments and emails are always appreciated and most valued.

A nutritionist once told me that the most important meal of the day is breakfast since it energizes you to have a healthy and productive day. Similarly, I believe that having the right morning routines energize you mentally, physically and spiritually to significantly impact those you can and should.
