Let It Go Raising the Barr Weekly Memo: Issue 361

Our grandchildren visited us recently at the same time the movie Frozen 2 opened. They insisted on being the first to see it and they, along with hundreds of other kids, waited in line for a viewing on opening day.

The reviews were spectacular along with the new music, but they couldn’t forget the original song, Let It Go.

As this year draws to an end and we begin looking ahead to 2020, I began taking inventory of my accomplishments and that which weighs me down and possibly holds me back from doing even better and being my best. With the remaining weeks of 2019, I have already begun to review my goals and marketing plans to make 2020 a superior year.

I ask myself:

  • Which goals have I achieved, which have I missed the mark and why, and what are the bold goals I should set for this upcoming year?
  • Did I think big enough last year, and are my plans for next year bold and big?
  • What should I do more of and what should I let go?

Let’s take the time to review and answer the questions above, then look back at our year and also decide what we no longer need to carry along and what may be too heavy or unnecessary.
