Are You Digitally Vigilant? Raising the Barr Weekly Memo: Issue 483

There isn’t a week that goes by that I don’t receive multiple scam solicitations via email or snail mail. These attempts, also known as phishing attempts, are to try and steal my identity and access codes to my email addresses, bank accounts, registered trademarks, investment accounts or fraudulent efforts to steal my money.

Here is an example of a phishing attempt I received today:

Unfortunately, many still fall prey to these deceitful attempts. My advice is that you increase your knowledge, become more vigilant and when in doubt immediately contact your trusted technology adviser.
