Time to Reenergize Raising the Barr Weekly Memo: Issue No. 13

This week’s reflection point: Spring is here!

I am looking outside my office window, admiring the beauty of nature and another seasonal rebirth. The sun is shining, the birds have returned looking for their food and there seems to be that buzz again in the air.

It was only a couple of weeks ago, when another snowstorm found its path thorough our region leaving us with much of that white stuff followed by several grey days. I remember driving around with my wife and suggesting that there is certain beauty in that as well.

When a client approves a project it always creates great energy within me. I use that energy as a springboard to immediately reach out to other clients and reinvigorate them. Even when a client rejects a proposal for a new project, it ignites the same kind of energy that I continue to use in a positive way and share my value with others.

I’ve come to realize that we have the ability to control what we allow into our mind that shapes our thoughts and emotions. Each day is a gift that holds great opportunities for us to discover. Unfortunately, too many of those I meet, struggle through their days and the challenges the day brings. Instead, why not wake up each morning with the mindset that this is going to be another “great day in paradise” and focus your energy on making it a reality.

This week’s tip: Whether an approval or a rejection from a client for a new project, immediately contact other clients and offer them your incredible value. Positive energy is infectious; spread it around to achieve great results.
