Albert Einstein, one of the most brilliant physicists and scientists of the 20th century, was known for his exceptionally high intelligence. Although his IQ was never formally tested, it is speculated to be around 160, a testament to his remarkable achievements.
I recently learned that the current version of ChatGPT is estimated to have an IQ of around 155, just 5 points shy of Einstein’s. And this is only version 4 of ChatGPT in its first year of release.
Can you fathom the potential that lies ahead as we anticipate the release of version 5 of ChatGPT, with future versions poised to evolve further?
Here are some of the areas where I believe the impact will be monumental:

- Healthcare Diagnostics and Treatment: The accuracy and quality of patient care will see remarkable improvements. Imagine AI detecting mental health issues through speech patterns and devising intervention strategies, personalizing nutrition plans, and advancing the treatment and potential cure of diseases like cancer and Alzheimer’s.
- Sophisticated Problem-Solving: AI could offer groundbreaking solutions to global challenges. Envision AI analyzing ocean pollution levels and strategizing and solving responses to wildfires and urban air quality issues.
- Creative and Artistic Endeavors: AI could reshape human creativity. Imagine its role in music composition, providing advanced tools for graphic designers, and assisting writers in storyline development.
- Space Exploration and Research: AI is sure to revolutionize our approach to space. Consider its potential in designing advanced spacecraft and habitats for extreme environments, and in the ongoing search for extraterrestrial life.
Reflecting on our progress over the past 500 years – from the Copernican Revolution to the Renaissance, the Industrial Revolution, the discovery of bacteria, Darwin’s theory of evolution, and the rapid advancements in computing, aviation, science, and medicine – it’s clear that human intelligence, bolstered by technology, has been the driving force.
Yet, for the first time in history, advancements that once took centuries are now achievable in years or even months. As ChatGPT and AI technologies continue to revolutionize and exponentially improve their capabilities, the potential impact of an AI with an IQ of 1000 or more would be transformative in every aspect of our lives and our future. We are witnessing progress on an unprecedented scale.
In this era of rapid technological advancement, understanding and leveraging the evolving capabilities of AI is crucial for the future of our business. The pace at which AI is advancing signals a new age of innovation and problem-solving, offering opportunities that were once unthinkable.
