Bring Out The Champion In You Raising the Barr Weekly Memo: Issue 181

This week’s reflection point: What a week it has been as we Clevelanders celebrate the great championship win of our team, the Cavaliers! This city has been transformed; new energy, excitement and pride.

There are so many lessons to be gleaned from this accomplishment and apply them from this remarkable comeback. Here is my list:

  • Dream big and execute your plan
  • Believe in yourself
  • Keep the progress moving forward one step at a time
  • Recognize the bigger cause of why you do what you do
  • Win some, lose some, but never give up striving for the goal
  • Identify and rely on your support system
  • Create a winning team that works seamlessly together
  • Go for the three point shots; they are always within reach
  • One or two technical fouls or setbacks keep you on your toes and in the game and strengthen your resolve to improve

This week’s tip: You never know what you are truly capable of achieving in business unless you get off the bench, get out on the court and make the big shots. Stretching beyond your perceived potential or comfort zone means you are closer to the winner’s spot than you ever imagined.
