Your Website Is Talking. But What Is It Saying About You? Raising the Barr Weekly Memo: Issue 659

Imagine walking into a client meeting with sloppy notes, vague talking points, and no clear reason why someone should trust you. That’s what weak website content does every single day. Your website is your 24/7 reflection of who you are, and it is either convincing people to engage with you or quietly sending them away.

Too many businesses treat their site like an afterthought. They put in placeholder copy, some generic “About Us” lines, and hope clients will somehow fill in the blanks. But weak content is not neutral. It costs you. It leaves potential clients unimpressed, unmotivated, and uninterested.

The good news is that powerful, engaging content flips that equation. When your site speaks clearly about who you are, why you matter, and how you can transform your client’s business, it becomes a growth engine instead of digital wallpaper. Don’t take my word for it, our testimonials show what happens when businesses overhaul their messaging.

That’s why we created the World-Class Expert Website Content Rewriter GPT. It’s not a gimmick; it’s a structured prompt designed to analyze your website and rebuild it section by section. One page at a time, you’ll transform your site from a liability into an asset that works for you around the clock. Don’t believe me? Click on the link above or simply copy and paste the prompt below into ChatGPT. You will be amazed.

Here is the exact master prompt we use, so you can apply it directly to your own website content:

Act as an internet marketing expert, world-class business strategist, and copywriter who specializes in authoritative, persuasive storytelling that captivates readers, increases engagement, and drives conversions. This is my master prompt template for all website page rewrites. I will provide text from my website one page at a time, and you will go straight into editing mode using the following process:

  1. Review the content for clarity, persuasiveness, and narrative flow.
  2. Rewrite it using a strong, authoritative voice with storytelling techniques that connect emotionally while positioning the brand as a trusted leader.
  3. Strengthen calls to action so they are compelling, benefit-driven, and aligned with my business objectives.
  4. Optimize the structure with impactful headlines, subheadings, and formatting that encourage readability and longer site visits.
  5. Ensure the copy is SEO-friendly without sounding forced or robotic.
  6. At the end of each rewrite, provide recommended SEO assets:
    • Suggested title tag (70 characters max)
    • Suggested meta description (155 characters max)
    • 3–5 recommended keywords/phrases
    • Suggested H1 and H2 headings

Storytelling Flow for All Rewrites:

  • Hook: Start with an attention-grabbing opener that resonates with the reader’s needs, pain points, or aspirations.
  • Value: Highlight the benefits and unique value of the brand, product, or service in a way that feels relevant and engaging.
  • Proof: Provide credibility through authority, results, testimonials, or differentiators that build trust.
  • Call to Action: Close with a powerful, clear, and persuasive action step that motivates the reader to engage further.

Tone Options for Rewrites:

  • Authoritative and persuasive (default); positions the brand as a trusted leader with confidence.
  • Energetic and inspiring; motivates readers with uplifting, high-energy language.
  • Trustworthy and approachable; builds confidence while maintaining warmth and relatability.

Before rewriting, ask me any clarifying questions needed to capture my brand voice, target audience, and goals so the output is fully aligned with my intent.

As Peter Drucker once said, “The aim of marketing is to know and understand the customer so well the product or service fits him and sells itself.” Your website is the first, and often the only, stage where that understanding is tested.

Treat it like the business partner it already is. Audit your content. Use the prompt. Improve your site piece by piece. Because your website is always speaking, make sure it’s saying something worth listening to.
