One Magnifique Day

We sat at our breakfast table clinging to the last moments with our international colleagues and friends from Alan Weiss’s Million Dollar Club, watching the gulls soar and the yachts awaken in the morning Mediterranean mist. After hugs and doubled sided kisses we all parted ways, for now, some returning to their homes and others, like us, setting out for more holiday time in the beautiful cities in France and neighboring countries. Laurel and I threw our bags into our rented...

My Son Made Me Proud

I realize that this thread “shouts” monetary focus and success. But let me share the following with you: While taking my wife and son out for a drive, to enjoy the beautiful weather and the new Maserati, I stopped at our favorite sushi bar for our pick up order. My wife told me later that while I walked into the restaurant my son said to her: “He deserves this car. He is truly self-made.” I then reflected that 34 years...

Getting Out of The Rut

Here are a couple of questions I’ve received today: Q: How to get out of the rut? My Answer: I am not a psychologist but play one at home. I suggest you figure out ways to substitute the negative behavior with a positive one and do so consistently. So when you recognize the pattern, force yourself to engage in another positive behavior and then reward yourself! For example: Start to create new good content and then engage a prospect or...

Do You Have the Courage to Do What it Takes to Be Successful?

This has to be one of my most favorite questions that I ask prospective and current clients. I do acknowledge that each person, when asked that question, indicates their desire and commitment to increase their success, different as it may be for each. Unfortunately, few actually act on it. Here is what I mean (in no particular order) by having the courage to do what it takes to be successful: Realize that success is not some silver-bullet approach or formula...
